Hi all! In this space we can talk about Silverback Press' products and the freelance work of former Hero Games owner and President Darren Watts.
Silverback Press publishes Champions Live Action, a LARP game using the Champions Universe (but not the Hero System, though the rules are fairly easy to make compatible.) We also will be the publisher for Shane Harsch's forthcoming Narosia, a complete-with-rules fantasy setting using the Hero System, and eventually Darren's own Champions supplements, including Golden Age Champions and Silver Age Champions.
I also have been freelancing for other companies, and would be happy to discuss titles like the forthcoming Fifth Doctor sourcebook for the Doctor Who RPG from Cubicle Seven, and other titles I'm working on.
So whaddya want to know? dw

Welcome Darren! Talk about whatever product you wish to. We don't mind if you talk about other Systems. Hell as Hero Fans we might buy your Dr Who books anyways and Convert it to Hero Isn't that what good hero fans do?

You're working on Doctor Who? Cool! Well, I'm done with my part of it already. My understanding is it's somewhere in the vast expanse of art insertion and BBC approvals, so I don't expect to actually see the book for another 2-3 months. They're coming out in order and the Fourth Doctor book just became available as PDF last week, hard copies haven't shipped yet. dw

I can't wait to see what you do with Golden Age Champions and Silver Age Champions. Also Narosia sounds very interesting.

Yeah Golden Age Champions (and to a lesser extent, silver age) interest me far more than Dr Who.

Me too (though I'm delighted to have a Who book on my resume.) Once some other items (mostly Narosia) clear my desk, GAC is the next big project to finish. dw
