For those not in the know, click here.
Name: The Slender Man
A.K.A.: "The Operator", "The Administrator", "Big Bad Stick In The Mud", "Mister Slim", "The Tree Man", "Tall Dark And Faceless", "Gorr'Rylaehotep", "Slendy"
General Description: A tall, faceless supernatural being in a black suit and tie, believed to stalk kids and young adults and be connected to many disappearances there of.
Known Abilities: The Slender Man can "hide in plain view," only animals, cameras, and anyone who has seen videos or photos of him can usually see him. He also has the ability to become intangible, as attempts to shoot him have often resulted in the bullets passing through without causing any real damage, and attempts to run him over with a vehicle have similarly failed. He can appear and vanish at will and can bend space and time. His presence also causes audio/visual "distortions" in video, such often being a clue that he is nearby. Also can generate tendrils/tentacles to grab or attack with. Often turns people into "proxies," who then act as his agents; believed by many to be the end result of the "Slender Sickness" some suffer during encounters with him (nosebleeds, nightmares, uncontrollable coughing, and gradual loss of sanity).
Motivations: Not well known or understood, although the fact that people tend to vanish and never be heard from again after encounters with him means there is more than sufficient cause to suspect he's malevolent.
Ecology: Mostly found in or around wooded areas, rarely enters urban environments unless following someone.
Slendy's write-up (5th Ed, of course) is currently on the drawing-board, I'm still doing research.
