There have been 3 official lines of Champions Miniatures though the years.
The first Company with the Licence was Heritage Models. Heritage eventually went out of business. One of the business partners took some the fantasy molds and started Reaper Minis. All characters were based on 1/2e Champions, Heroes were based on the Guardians IIRC. The molds were recovered out of a leaky barn, but there's no telling if you could get good casts out of it

Next on the hit parade was Grenadier Miniatures. You see these on eBay all of the time. They had a nice oval base. Good clean sculpt, showing how boring Supers Miniatures could be. There were 2 boxed sets (Heroes and Villains, Heroes were The Guardians, Villains were out of Enemies I and II.) also a bajillion blister packs of everything else. Rumored to be destroyed when Grenadier went out of business. Perhaps someone packratted these molds and they will show up someday in some guys casting barn.

Solders and Swords were the last of the Licencees for Champions Miniatures. They were the 4e versions of all of your favorite Villains and some generic Heroes. The sculpts were a bit flat, but pretty decent. I own a decent number of these figs. Don't know what happened to the company. They had licences to Cyberpunk. Castle Falkenstein, Milleniumn's End, and many others. The minis are good.

I wish that the Champions Licence meant something, and that someone like Reaper would make figs for it.
Are there any Miniatures collectors out there that are interested in the old stuff like I am?
