Episode One:
At a sports arena in Mexico City, our heroes, the brave luchadores El Tercer Ojo and El Espectro de Venganza, are in the midst of a tagteam bout against a couple of rudos. The rudos put up a bit of a fight, mainly by resorting to illegally maneuvers conveniently unnoticed by the ref, but eventually are put down by El Tercer Ojo and El Espectro de Venganza's superior mat technique and teamwork. After the match, El Espectro de Venganza is getting a rubdown by a lovely young masseuse and El Tercer Ojo is greeted by his old friend Profesor Diaz and his pulchritudinous daughter Miranda. It seems Prof. Diaz brought Miranda to the wrestling match to take his mind off strange goings on at his lab. Prof. Diaz confides in El Tercer Ojo that he is worried about the loyalties of his colleague, the foreign Doctor Garibaldi, after several flasks of an experimental anticoagulant went missing. Prof. Diaz doesn't have any real evidence but he is nonetheless concerned. He asks El Tercer Ojo to promise to look out for Miranda in the event that anything should happen to the professor. Naturally El Tercer Ojo agrees. El Espectro de Venganza can't help but hear all this and, when the professor and Miranda take their leave, he dismisses his masseuse and asks El Tercer Ojo, "Do you think there's anything to his concerns?" El Tercer Ojo hopes not, "But I know I can rely on your strength if there is evil afoot!" Serious-minded as ever, El Tercer Ojo asks El Espectro de Venganza if he is coming back to the gymnasium for a workout, but El Espectro de Venganza has other plans because the telenovela starlet Barbara Nova is in town. "But I thought you were seeing that luchadora La Cazadora Azteca?" "I am, but sometimes you want chili con queso and sometimes you want chili con carne!" El Espectro de Venganza departs for his nightclub date.
Later, at the gymnasium, El Tercer Ojo is practicing new moves with a young luchador when he is interrupted by a visit from Miranda Diaz. She explains that her father has disappeared! She was bringing him his dinner at his lab as usual, when she discovered the lab had been wrecked by persons unknown and Profesor Diaz was nowhere to be found. Fearful, she rushed to El Tercer Ojo for assistance. "This is serious! Call Espectro at the club and tell him to meet me at your father's lab!" El Tercer Ojo burns rubber in his souped-up Cadillac convertible and worries about national security, for he knows that Profesor Diaz works for the government. He wonders if the foreign Doctor Garibaldi is involved.
Meanwhile, at Club Loco, El Espectro de Venganza is wowing the ladies with his unique dance stylings. "I can't decide if you're a better dancer or fighter," observes his dance partner, the gorgeous miniskirted telenovela starlet Barbara Nova. "Try lover!" laughs El Espectro. Before Barbara can reply, they are interrupted by a waiter bringing a telephone on a platter and announcing, "Telefono para El Espectro de Venganza!" El Espectro takes the call immediately and receives from Miranda Diaz the news of Profesor Diaz's mysterious disappearance. "Hasta la vista, ladies!" he calls as he rushes out of the club to join El Tercer Ojo at the laboratory. Via his own souped-up Cadillac, of course!
