Anyone else enjoy Superworld?
It has a number of similarities to Champions but (I believe) is easier to introduce to new players as there is none of the -1/2 +1/4 stuff and rolling percentiles is more immediately intuitive than rolling 11- on 3d6 and chucking handfuls of 6-siders for damage and calculatin BODY, STUN, Stun, Knockback, END cost, REC...
I don't see much about it anywhere online. It seems like an overlooked game. It's one of my favorites.

basicroleplaying.com/forum.phpBuild the PC's characters and the rest of the Hero system is actually pretty simple. No real reason to complicate things by playing Superworld

The full BRP rules contain the Super World Stuff. To be Honest, It's tied with HERO for my favorite System and there is a TON of stuff for it. Occasionally it has a bit of a revival but it's always there lurking in the shadows. I bounce back and forth between BRP and HERO a lot. BRP can be Really Really lethal though....

Both are good once you are familiar with them.

You could still do super heroes with BRP alone, though.

Every RP game in the world no matter how "simple" have issues with Players who take a long time to execute their PC's action. Hero can find that magnified if there's a large range of SPD score and High Speed PCs being played by slow or players who take forever to make decisions.

Ah, the indecisive player syndrome...drives me nuts. I encourage simple character ideas to deter this as much as possible, but I prefer a lower-powered game anyway so usually too many options isn't an issue. And SPD for heroes usually ranges from 2-4 so a round isn't usually too long either. It's mostly the bookkeeping that drags for me. I try to eliminate as much as possible.
