I agree, a book of floorplans, layouts, and settings would be very useful for Champions. You could throw in an adventure generator and a dozen or two plot seeds and basic one-sentence adventure ideas for each layout.

Up until this past weekend, I would tend to agree about adventures not being supported very much. However, some of the numbers I'm seeing from The Free Comic Book Day Super-Special is proving that potentially wrong. We're still considering releasing some books for the Hero System and might even be interested in doing an adventure when we can. That said, we're a pretty small operation, so it may be a ways off.

I know they say adentures don't sell, but I wonder: would you get more people using Hero/Champions if there was more to the product line that was ready to grab 'n' play, like those old modules that would include some pregenerated PCs in case you lack the time/interest to make your own. Getting started is a huge hurdle for Hero/Champions as compared to many other games.
V&V has a huge number of modules still available, from which I have borrowed quite a bit even though I seldom if ever play V&V.
As for "players buy sourcebooks": not any of the players I know. They just show up to play and leave the rest to the GM. Maybe they'll buy food/beverages, but not game books.

I'd buy stuff like that especially when I can reuse the layouts/plans over and over and amass a whole collection as a resource for my games. V&V has some stuff like this for free download on the FGU site. The free villains suck, but the scenarios with floorplans are pretty cool.

Unfortunately the time I'd need to make them outweigh the price point for the moment (especially if looking at Paizo's $22.95 price). My hope is to eventually make the AoV issues for Hero, possibly when we get the first issue of Collected together. But there are a few things I'm looking into before moving forward. Eventually I would like to do an adventure or two to see how they sell, but, like I said, it may be a ways off.

I'm skeptical that adventures don't sell as well; I think it depends a lot on genre and cost. If you want 19 bucks for your module, yeah people are going to blow it off. But if you make it cheap, especially on ebook, I think people would buy it. GMs are always looking for adventures, and like Tiki said, Hero especially needs stuff ready to play off the shelf.

I would absolutely love to see The Acts of Villainy characters written up in Hero System terms!

I would absolutely love to see The Acts of Villainy characters written up in Hero System terms! Hi Nexus! For some reason this board no longer tells me when I have replies, so I apologize for the late response. We've been pondering it for a while and may release a few conversions to see how well they sell/download (because a few will be free). I'll let everyone know what's going on as we get closer to getting them released.
