As far as the universes go, I like 4th and 5th, which, to me, are pretty much the same. It was then that the rules really got streamlined and fleshed out. Granted you had to buy a lot of side books to start seeing their universe and ideas for it, but that really does seem to be when everything just gelled and came into focus. It's probably why I'll more than likely stick with 4th and 5th.

I like using the base 5th Ed Champions universe, to which I add:
San Angelo Bay City Freedom City (M&M) Century Station (Heroes Unlimited)

I am just now getting back into Champions after a long hiatus, but I have always loved the 4th ed stuff. both as a player and as a GM, we had folded in most of Aarons' work as well as the Protectors. I used some of the C:TNM stuff, I was a fan of both the Hero and the Interlock system (Cyberpunk 2020) so I took to it, lol but it seems few others did. I don't mind 5E & 6E but when you reboot a universe that had been in play for 21 years ('81-'02), seemed like a death to an era.

I'm not a big fan of the art in The New Millennium myself, but so far it is my favorite setting.
I would very much like to see it as a setting book updated for the 6th Edition.

Strikeforce is taking care of itself so doesn't need my vote. My favorite is the 4th Edition - the Champions Universe book did a lot for my world making. Second to that is the original world. I liked the Guardians very much and would have loved to see a supplement focused on them. My own world started out as a 2nd/3rd Edition world with the canon villains and NPCs mostly ripped out when I started writing it years later for fun.

For me, it would be Gestalt, Guardians (2e and 3e), Strike Force, and Protectors. It just occurred to me that two of those were created by Scott Bennie. BTW, has anyone checked out Algernon Files? What did you think? I liked it and its sequel fires of war for myself I came to CHAMPIONS during the 5ED so i'd say that
