Choose your favorite version of the Published Superheroic Universes. Share why you like them and what you look for in a Published Universe. Oh yeah, you can vote for more than one if you like While I have voted for my favorites, I'll wait till someone else starts to say I like what I do.

I also liked the Blood, which were part of the Strike Force universe.

I think that "The Blood" have had a huge amount of influence in all of the Champions Universes. The Idea that there were people with power before the first Atom Bombs went off, was kind of revolutionary. Kind of like mutants with another explanation.

If I had to pick one. Strike Force. Would love to update that one for 6e.

I think everyone loves Strike Force. I am rather surprised that New Millenium got one more vote than 4th Edition.

I think I am the only one that realized that you could vote for more than one product.
My number one favorite Champions Universe is Champions New Millenium (yeah that's my vote). I know that some people don't care for it's "Image" like artwork and it's connection to the dislike FUZION system. When I read the 3 books of CNM, I want to play a character there. When I read character writeups that character comes to life in my head. The conversational writing style really does it for me. The characters have soul. Characters that I have though were just meh in other version became characters I found fun to run and that I could connect to. I want a game that makes me want to be part of the game world. CNM does that for me. It also doesn't hurt that this game is set in the place of my birth, the San Francisco Bay Area. It's full of call outs and in jokes that people who live here will understand.
I also Voted for Strike force because that book is so influential to pretty much every version of Champions that came after it. With the Gamer Personalities and new ideas like blue booking. Not to mention Pre Atomic age Powered Families. Strike Force really is a great book. It expands on The Blood that first appeared in "The Blood and Dr McQuark" from 2nd edition Champions. There's a rumor that Aaron will someday release a new edition of Strike Force in multiple volumes. Though by then the fan base might have shrunk to the point that it wouldn't make any money

Out of simple selfishness, I have to vote for 5th Edition; Vibora Bay and Champions Battlegrounds were both for 5th Edition. But I also really liked Strike Force, San Angelo, and the New Millennium CU. I really liked The Protectors too, but I don't think there was quite enough info about the world there to consider it a usable universe setting.

I was fond of the universe from GURPS supers, though I'm sure I'm not the only one that has made their own universe and pulled in elements from a multitude of sources.
I almost clicked on Protectors, but then went "oh yea, champs source book". Sam Bell, Bob Handly, myself, and a bunch of others put together our own.
I liked elements of C:NM, though rereading it last week, not as fond of it now.
I prefer the pre-5th edition universe just because it seemed lighter.

Had to go with Strike Force, although San Angelo was pretty cool. I liked the 4th edition universe best of the other choices, personally.
Of course I created my own setting, but it has bits from the Champions stuff, like Viper. They are good bad guys.

No opinion, mostly because I haven't played most of those.

My favorite was honestly the vague universe defined by the common characters from the Enemies books and whatever NPCs the GM came up with and the players wrote down for their Hunteds. You could say "Let's play Champions," write up characters, and away we went.

That's the big advantage of D&D, so much material out there to just drop into a game and play. I'm trying to get stuff out there for Fantasy Hero, maybe make it easier for people.

I did like the Protectors as a group and its a great module, but yeah not enough information to really have a setting
