I'm looking at rewriting and updating old Champions adventures for the Community project. It might be a few bucks worth of minor sales over time and while modules don't sell real well, they are important to support a product like Champions and give ease of play.
What I would really love to do is set up a sort of Pathfinder campaign concept, where you link old modules together into a chain of connected stories building up to something.

I have started up work on rebuilding The Island of Dr Destroyer for a new generation, with some expanded content, a bit different contents and story (but enough to stay with nostalgia) and shifting it in to 6th edition. I'm unsure on some of the builds, a few have been remade and some were strictly 1st edition.

If it helps, Christopher, The Island of Doctor D was re-released for 3e. You might find those write-ups easier to convert.
Just a thought.

Work is ongoing with the Island book. I've been slowed down working on the cover but I'm giving it an extra effort to really look good. All the writing is done, its just down to art and layouts now. I'm torn on whether or not to use the original maps or work up some of my own. It would be a heck of a lot easier to use the old maps but they look old.

I'm begging you: If you do this as a printed or printable version, go staple-bound with the entire inside cover being a map. Not just for the nostalgia, but-- MAP!

I do plan on making a printed version available somehow but I'm not sure how to get the cover have the map on the inside. Every POD place I've worked with the interior cover is blank.

Well, there is always the tabloid pull-out in the center. That gives you the chance for_two_ maps!
