Supplements and adventures (no need to tell us you love the Big Blue Book or FreD). Bonus for obscure ones.
I've been building out my 6e collection and oddly enough I am grooving on The Ultimate Base. It's nothing earth-shattering but I like taking a small niche of the game and really putting it front and center, it brings out the creativity. I just made a pretty cool pirate cave base for a steampunk campaign.
Other books I really like are Fantasy Hero 5e/6e (so much information there, and it's fun to read just for the quotes) and the 4e Ninja Hero.

Much love for the 5e books. Fantasy HERO, Star HERO, Ultimate Martial Artist. Some of the 4e books were pretty good as well.

Champions in 3D was pretty amazing, I thought. I have found lots of good useful adventures in Challenges for Champions books, and one of my favorite all-time modules is Target: Hero.
and, of course, Strike Force.

Thread necromancy a little bit, here. Sorry if that annoys anyone.
I've always had a soft spot for Mystic Masters, a 4ed supplement that was somewhat a predecessor to the Ultimate SuperMage and the Ultimate Mystic.

Thread necromancy is all good.
My favorite of all time is Robot Warriors, with Danger International a close second, followed by the 5e/6e Fantasy Hero, FH 1e, 6e Champions with the Superhero Gallery.

4th edition had the best array, but there were some excellent 3rd edition books like Danger International.

CHAMPIONS IN 3D is the 'great' book from Hero's past that no one really talks about. The Nazis-take-over-America world and the psuedo-Lovecraftian ones are definitely worth running, even today.
STAR HERO is a fantastic all-in-one book for the science fiction junkie, but I maybe biased because I am a science fiction junkie.

I agree, 3d was a great book with terrific adventures in it. I ran several of them in my games to great effect.

Fantasy Hero 1e, Lands of Mystery, and Magic Items 1e are my all time favorites. Also Champions in 3D, Fantasy Hero 4e & companions, Star Hero 1e (eek!), some of the Shadow World stuff, and the BBB.
