I find, as I get Older I am going back to my roots as a Pulp Fan more often then not. Something about the characters, and the story just keeps me going in the face of things that have gotten overly complicated. The recent multiple resurgence of Pulp Heroes back onto the comic stage has certainly had it's impact as well. Got to hand it to companies like Dynamite, Darkhorse and Moonstone right now because they have really taken this ball and run with it.
Hence, I think I am going to post a HUGE amount of Pulp Material here. Going to start with a rough outline of a setting, era and city, major players, things that need to be there, things that shouldn't etc etc .... I firmly Believe Pulp is an Atmosphere, and a Style more then something locked into a specific set of dates so I'm going to draw from a lot of sources.
If anyone wants to pitch in, I'm fairly easy to get a hold of.

Can't say I'm a fan of the modern versions of classic pulp heroes, but I'm glad they're out there again.
Please post anything that might be useful for a pulp campaign. Maybe I can get a new Justice Inc. or Daredevils campaign up and running. Toss in a little Gold Monkey, a little Indiana Jones, and a whole lotta Avenger and Doc Savage...

I agree the rebuilds of those pulp guys don't work for me (the Dynamite stuff with Green Lama and stuff just isn't right in my opinion) but I do love pulp and golden age champions stuff.

Roughly halfway though my outlines and such for my Pulp Builds. Going a few different directions in places and tying together a few other things as well; the work schedule imposed upon me by my despotic boss deflects the free time all over the place hence progress is more then a tad scattered.
Still, taking a few cues from some things I've read lately as well. I think some of the things that have irked me as far as a few bits and pieces of the Dynamite material was more in the form of trying to cram to much Gray into what really should be black and white for a few of the characters. I get the feeling from some of the stuff I've read coming from them as of late, that the return of Project Superpowers to their roster will be something of an attempt to fix a few things here and there as well as another play at making it truly ongoing....
