I saw ROBOT WARRIORS on the used shelf in the backroom of a game store I visit now and then and barely flipped through it. It didn't look all that great, but again I didn't probe very deeply. Can anyone tell me about it? Is there a later edition? The one I saw looked around the era of Champions 3rd edition or possibly 4th. I have a really neat setting idea for a game with mercenaries operating giant robots in the relatively near future so now I'm wondering if ROBOT WARRIORS might have been good for that.

Different people have different opinions about it. Mine is that I had more fun out of that book than just about any three other gaming books I've ever owned. It's poorly edited and doesn't use standard Champions power rules, but it's extremely fun and works very well for giant robots. There are no later editions, but I wrote up some rules for using it with 5th edition, which should be easily convertible to 6th edition.

The only 5th ed. books I use are Lucha Libre Hero and the Champions genre book, pretty much, but I'll take a look at your notes if I ever acquire Robot Warriors.
Not really interested in 6th or Champions Complete.

Should be a bit more usable with 4th edition, even.
