Anybody know of any good places/sites to look for resources for earlier editions of Champions? I prefer editions 2-4 over the later stuff. I do have a couple of 5th edition books that have good stuff in them, like "Champions" (not the universe stuff), Villainy Amok, and Lucha Libre Hero, but is there anywhere one can obtain adventure modules and what not from bygone days? Most worthwhile stuff on Amazon or eBay is a ripoff, plus I am also wondering about fan/player-made stuff someone might want to share, especially scenarios/adventures.
It's a shame so much material from editions 1-4 is out of print or out of style with the publisher.

You can check at Noble Knight Games (www.nobleknight.com) though I'll warn you the prices for 1-3rd edition stuff are pretty high there also.

Noble Knight and Wayne's Books seem to get some good stuff but rarely in my price range. I'd really like to get a hold of Strike Force (ah, what a dream) and old issues of Adventurer's Club (was that the name of the Hero magazine?).

Strike Force is universally expensive. I would recommend watching nearby Used book Stores or half price books in your area. Also check out Convention Flea Markets.
Adventurer's Club seems to always be available on eBay. The Magazine went through 3 publication sizes. Originally it was Digest sized, Then went to Comic Sized (because they though that Comic shops might stock it near the comics), the last few issues were full sized 8.5" x 11" with a similar amount of content in each issue.
I think the issue with publishing those old books is rights issues. I know that is what I was told when I asked about them reprinting or at least publishing Strike Force in PDF form. Old magazines would be worse when it comes to fractured IP rights. Also, DOJ probably doesn't have any of those old writer's contracts from before they Purchased Hero Games. So any rights they MIGHT have had is lost with the paperwork.

I'm not too crazy about the vast majority of DOJ's output, but there have been a couple of gems like Lucha Libre Hero. I think it's mainly Mr. Long's aesthetic values do not coincide with mine, whereas Mr. Allston's do (or, regrettably, did). Man would I love a reprint or bootleg of Strike Force. Unfortunately there is no HPB anywhere down here and the web site makes their name a big fib as nothing ever seems to be half-price. There is a place called Book Off but it's inconvenient and rarely has any RPG materials as it's Japanese and mainly filled to the gills with Japanese comics and cartoons.

Managed to get my hands on decent-condition copies of Voice of Doom and To Serve And Protect. Amazing how short modules used to be. Haven't read much of either yet but they look interesting and have good cover art. A shame Champions Complete went with such a bland, poorly laid out cover...these 3rd edition products are so much better looking.

Those are two of the better adventures from that era.

Those are two of the better adventures from that era. Any others worth tracking down? I have "Target:Hero" (or whatever it's called) and "Scourge of the Deep."

Challenges for Champions and Champions 3d has some good stuff in it, I;ve heard Coriolis Effect is really good. I forgot I have "Coriolis Effect." What's in "Challenges for Champions"? "3-D" I hear is about interdimensional adventures, so I'll likely skip that as I like super hero stuff set in the here-and-now, like Bronze Age Spider-Man and such.

I am not sure, I haven't seen it. I posted the wrong name because I wasn't with my game books at the time! I meant the Champions Presents books; series of short adventure ideas in a book. Some good stuff, some so-so ideas.

Anyone know if there is a master list of adventure modules? I found a list of all Hero System supplemental materials but combing through to figure out what was (1) for Champions and (2) was an adventure module was a pain.
Also: anyone know which issues of AC have Champions scenarios in them? I know some have scenarios for other Hero stuff, but if it ain't Champions or Justice Inc. I'm not super interested.
